Kava Refund Policy

1. Overview
Kava is a monthly subscription service with no contracts and no cancellation fees. This policy explains when payments can and cannot be refunded. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, in particular Section 3 (Billing and Cancellation).
2. General Rule: Payments Are Non-Refundable
As set out in our Terms of Use, subscription payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unwatched content. When you cancel, you keep full access to Kava until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, your account then closes automatically and you are not charged again.
3. Exceptions
We will issue a refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges. If you were billed twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, we will refund the incorrect charge in full.
- Unauthorized transactions. If a charge was made without your authorization, contact us immediately. We will investigate with our subscription and payments partner and refund verified unauthorized charges.
- Extended service failure. If a fault on our side prevents you from using Kava for a substantial part of a billing period, we may, at our discretion, offer a pro-rated refund or account credit.
- Where required by law. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable refund rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.
4. Gift Subscriptions
Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed. An unredeemed gift may be refunded to the original purchaser within 14 days of purchase on request.
5. Promotional Offers and Free Trials
Promotional pricing and free-trial periods convert to a paid subscription at the end of the offer unless cancelled beforehand. Charges applied after an offer converts follow the general rule in Section 2 — cancel before the conversion date to avoid being billed.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
Billing and payments for Kava are managed by our subscription partner. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. If you subscribed through a third-party platform (for example an app store), the refund follows that platform’s process and timelines.
7. Requesting a Refund
Email support@kava.tv from the address on your account with the date and amount of the charge and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within one business day. You can also review your billing history and manage your subscription from your account page at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy for legal, regulatory or operational reasons. Material changes will be notified in line with our Terms of Use, and the “Last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
